Oh The Joy's Of Pregnancy

So up until the last few days I was feeling pretty good aside from being ~~tired~~ exhausted.. then the nausea kicked in. I thought I was going to have a smooth sailing pregnancy this time around which was leading me to believe it was a BOY. I mean with all the cravings I have been having it has made it interesting since I never had them with Shiloh. But now that nausea has joined me I am starting to think GIRL.

I am so exhausted.. it doesn't matter if I sleep 8 hours or 12 hours a night I am still so tired the next day. I can nap during the day & be in bed by 9pm & still exhausted. I have zero energy & no idea how to handle it. When I was pregnant with Shiloh even though I was sick I was still a clean freak... I would clean get sick nap then wake up & clean some more. I couldn't handle the house being a mess & seeing it a mess made me sick. With this pregnancy my house looks like a daycare is run out of it & the laundry is everywhere.. I have ZERO energy to pick up toys, fold laundry, do laundry, put dishes away, clean dishes & cooking well it only gets done because we have to eat & well eating makes me feel a little better. But we have had hamburger helper nights more often now & I have my hubby make that LOL. I can't stand my house being a mess its actually depressing me.. my husband doesn't want me to clean with cleaning products so the bathrooms are so gross {I can't get mad at Stephen either because he already does so much} I just feel so helpless.. I try to get up the motivation to clean & I either get dizzy or I am so tired I can't do it.

The last few days I have been getting pretty nauseous.. well today its full effect! I can't do anything.. I am at the point where I just wish I could get sick so I would feel some what better but then I know after that I will want to sleep & well my child & napping when she is not ready is a nightmare. It seems as long as I drink water, lay down or stuff my face I am okay.. but its hard when you have a toddler who wants to play & I just don't have the energy to. Also eating has become a challenge because I have to eat small portions & I tend to forget & stuff my face & then I am so full I am sick & can't sleep, I can't even eat the normal size helpings I would when I wasn't pregnant & that to me makes me think TWINS because they say with twins your are completely exhausted from your body having to do double the work & that your appetite is huge but that you can't eat as much because you don't have as much room since there are two babies in the belly. I hope this ends soon so that our lives aren't too crazy the next 7 or 8 months.. but if not oh well.. its all worth it to have another baby {s} & to give Shiloh a sibling. So I am going to cross my fingers this won't last my entire pregnancy like it did with Shiloh.

Here is my bump as of May 23rd I am still not sure how far along I am so I am just going to say 6 or 7 weeks.. its still growing fast.. but I am still at the "is she getting fat or is she pregnant stage"

Things I Have To Avoid

So I know its only been a few years since I had Shiloh but I feel like I have forgotten so much in this time of things I CAN'T do while pregnant.. & there I things I never new as well. I am reading up on all of this since I am feeling so great with this pregnancy & can eat much more & can actually get out and do things since I am not so sick & have to stay in bed.

Here is a list of foods you can't have while pregnant from WebMD:

Swordfish, shark, tilefish, king mackerel, limit canned albacore tuna fish. These large fish harbor higher levels of methylymercury, a metal detrimental to a growing child's brain and nervous system. Pregnant and nursing women may safely eat up to 6 ounces of albacore ("white') tuna fish as part of their weekly total limit of 12 ounces of seafood low in mercury, says the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This also includes salmon, shrimp, canned light tuna, pollock, and catfish.
Fish caught in rivers, lakes, streams, or any other body of water. Recreational anglers may hook fish contaminated with bacteria or chemicals. Check the safety of fish from your favorite fishing grounds with your local health department.
Raw or undercooked meat, poultry, seafood (like raw oysters, clams, sushi), and eggs (including eggs in cookie dough and cake batter). Undercooked animal foods may contain a variety of bacteria and viruses. Use a meat thermometer to determine doneness of meat and poultry, and cook eggs until they are no longer runny.
Hot dogs and luncheon meats, including deli ham, turkey, bologna, and salami -- unless they have been reheated until steaming hot. These foods are prone to Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that causes listeriosis, which may result in miscarriage, stillbirth, or other serious health problems.
Unpasteurized dairy foods, including some milk and certain cheeses, such as Brie, feta, Camembert, Roquefort, blue-veined, "queso blanco," "queso fresco," and Panela; refrigerated pates or meat spreads; and refrigerated smoked seafood, such as salmon, trout, whitefish, cod, tuna, or mackerel (most often labeled as "nova-style," "lox," "kippered," "smoked," or "jerky"). These foods may contain harmful levels of listeria bacteria. Refrigerated smoked seafood is safe when it's part of a cooked dish, like casseroles.
Unpasteurized juices, such as cider purchased from roadside stands, at farms, or in stores. These products are prone to germs, including E. coli. Check the label to be sure juice is pasteurized.
Raw vegetable sprouts, including alfalfa, clover, radish, and mung bean. The FDA says sprouts are not a good idea for anyone, never mind pregnant women who are more susceptible to the health effects of the germs sprouts possess.
Herbal supplements and teas. Herbs are natural, but herbal products have not been studied enough to recommend them during pregnancy.
Alcohol. Beer, wine, and spirits rob developing cells of oxygen, making normal development impossible. The effects of alcohol on intellectual prowess are irreparable. According to the March of Dimes, there is no known safe level for alcohol consumption in pregnancy.
Tap water in undeveloped countries. Drink bottled water to avoid bacteria and viruses.
Certain foods that cause food allergy. Depending on your family history, your child may be at risk for developing food allergies. Avoiding foods including peanuts and peanut products during pregnancy (and nursing) may reduce allergy risk in susceptible children. Before you make any changes to your diet, speak with a licensed health care professional about your child's risk for allergy and consult with a registered dietitian knowledgeable about food allergy.

So I knew most of these but I had no clue Deli Meat was out.. which stinks because I have been craving Roast Beef Sandwiches like no other.

Here are activities I have to avoid now from BabyCenter:

• Amusement park rides: Waterslides and other rides at amusement parks are a no-no, since a forceful landing or sudden start or stop could harm your baby.

• Bicycling: Cycling isn't a good idea for newbies, but experienced riders may be able to continue until their second trimester, when a shifting center of gravity affects balance and can make cycling dangerous.

• Contact sports: Soccer, basketball, and hockey put you at a high risk of injury from a ball or puck, a collision with another player, or a fall during play.

• Downhill skiing: ACOG advises against downhill skiing anytime during pregnancy because of the risk of serious injuries and hard falls. If you choose to ski, stick to gentle slopes and be aware that you may have problems with balance as your belly expands. A safer choice is cross-country skiing, which is also much better for building cardiovascular fitness. Avoid skiing at altitudes above 6,000 feet, where there's less oxygen for you and your baby.

• Gymnastics: Same risk of falling and increased chance of trauma to your abdomen.

• Horseback riding: Even if you're a good rider, it's not worth risking a fall.

• Post-sport tubs and saunas: Soaking in hot tubs and Jacuzzis or sitting in a sauna can be dangerous to your developing baby because overheating has been linked to birth defects.

• Running: If you weren't a runner before you got pregnant, now's not the time to take it up. Otherwise, it's fine in moderation. From your second trimester on, when the risk of falling increases, you should run with caution. As with all forms of exercise, avoid becoming overheated, and drink plenty of water to replace fluids lost through sweating.

• Scuba diving: This is an absolute no. As you surface, air bubbles can form in your bloodstream, which can be very dangerous for both you and your growing baby.

• Snowboarding: Same risk of falling and increased chance of trauma to your abdomen.

• Surfing: Same risk of falling and increased chance of trauma to your abdomen.

• Tennis: A moderately paced game of tennis is okay if you played before you became pregnant. But you may have problems with balance and sudden stops, so watch your step. Most women find that it's hard to keep up their game as their bellies get bigger in the second and third trimesters.

• Waterskiing: Another activity that puts you at risk for falling and increases the chance of trauma to your abdomen.

Good thing I don't plan on doing any of these activities any time soon.. how ever I never thought Tennis would be a bad thing.

Over-the-counter Medications I can take from BabyCenter:

NOTE: We've listed a few brand names as examples for each type of medication, but there are many more on the market. Be sure to check the label of every medication you consider taking to see what it contains.

I am not much of a Medicine taker but its nice to know what I can take since I thought all I was able to take was Tylenol.

Enviroments to Avoid from eHow:

*Cigarette Smoke. If you smoke, stop. Ask others not to smoke around you. Inhaling passive smoke is almost as harmful as smoking yourself.
* Lead: Stay away from lead paint, especially if repair work is being done or the paint is chipping off. You should be concerned if your house was built before 1978. Most companies stopped putting lead in paint in 1955, and the federal government banned lead in paint in 1978.
Make sure the tap water you drink is lead free. Check with your local environmental group or the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). If you suspect that the water may not be safe, get it tested for lead and contaminants by the EPA or get more information from the Health Department. Use only cold water for drinking and cooking. If your plumbing is very old or contains lead, consider changing it. Always run the tap for a few minutes before filling your glass, especially if the tap has not been used for a few hours.
* Manufacturing agents and chemicals: Those working in manufacturing or on a factory floor should avoid certain things when pregnant, as specified by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. These include chemicals like alkylating agents, arsenic, benzene, carbon monoxide, chlorinated hydrocarbons, dimethyl sulfoxide, organic mercury compounds, lead, lithium, aluminum, ethylene oxide, dioxin and polychlorinated biphenyls.
* Cleaning agents and strong fumes: There is no proven link between household cleaners and pregnancy complications, but it is better to use these with extra caution when pregnant since they contain very strong chemicals and emit unpleasant odors. Use rubber gloves. Do not use toxic cleaners such as oven cleaners. Avoid inhaling the fumes directly by covering your nose while spraying. Make sure the rooms you clean are well ventilated.
* Continuous In-flight Radiation, especially at high altitudes, closer to the earth's poles: This is applicable to women working as pilots or flight crew members. It has been observed that those who often fly for long hours at very high altitudes, close to the poles are at a risk of exposure to solar radiation. Though the risk may be small, pregnant women are advised to avoid it.
* Mercury-rich Fish: Though fish is considered one of the healthiest types of foods, pregnant women should avoid seafood with high mercury content. Shark, swordfish, King mackerel, tile fish are especially to be avoided. Similarly, raw fish could contain bacteria and parasites and should be avoided.
*Microwave radiation: Although the benefits of the microwave far outweigh any risks it might pose, studies show that the fetus is especially vulnerable to being affected adversely. So, while you don't have to stop using the microwave, you should take some precautions while using it. Make sure the microwave has no leaks. Do not stand in front of the microwave or very close to it while it runs.
* Air Pollution: Avoid or reduce the inhalation of polluted air and exhaust fumes. Keep your rooms well-ventilated, especially the ones with fireplaces, burners or stoves.
* Paint fumes: Although lead based paints are no longer used, paint fumes are best avoided. Some paints have been shown to have unsafe amounts of mercury and other substances.
* Noise: Continuous exposure to loud noise has been known to cause miscarriages in animals. There is no study to prove a similar correlation in humans, but it is known that continuous exposure to loud noise causes hearing loss. So, to be on the safer side, pregnant women might want to avoid working in an environment that is too noisy all the time.

Some of these things make me feel like I should lock myself in my house LOL others are understandable I just wish people who are not pregnant could understand.

Helpful ways to have a stress free healthy pregnancy from Women's Health Care Topic's:

Eat a healthy, well balanced diet. Eating well will provide you the energy you need to get through the day, especially when you feel tired or overworked. The more junk food you eat the more stressed your body will be. Your body needs ample nutrients to cope with daily stress.
Get plenty of sleep. The less sleep you get the more stressed you are likely to be. If you find you are having trouble sleeping invest in a comfortable body pillow, some new sheets and even a white noise machine to help block out outside noises and help promote more restful sleep. You may find it helpful to take a relaxing bath before bed. Also avoid eating up to one hour before bed to prevent heartburn, which can disrupt your sleep and increase your level of stress.
Exercise regularly. Exercise is an ideal way to help cope with daily stressors. It will also leave you feeling more energetic and ready to tackle the day's challenges. Some women find that exercising after work helps provide them the time they need to wind down and distress from their day at work. Exercise can also help ease labor and alleviate some of the anxiety associated with the upcoming labor and delivery.
Try some natural stress reduction techniques including biofeedback, yoga or meditation. Each of these methods is a non interventionist way to help you focus, identify stressors and release stress in a healthy, safe and energy producing manner.
Talk regularly with your partner. Your partner can help you work through your anxiety and help comfort you in times of high stress. By communicating regularly and openly with your partner you are bound to feel more prepared to deal with the challenges each day will bring.
Reduce your workload. If you find you are doing too much in a day find ways to delegate certain tasks to others. Carrying a baby for nine months is a lot of work. You should expect that those around you will be willing to take on more responsibility to help you out in your time of need.

I know that I am a stress cass anxiety crazy lady while pregnant I am trying to not be with this pregnancy so its nice to be given was to reduce this.

So as you all have heard we are FINALLY pregnant!! YAY after a year & A half of trying, tears, fear, fertility & frustration our prayers have been answered. We are still so excited & over joyed with this news & we can't wait to meet this new bean!

I have to tell you though I am a little lost when it comes to figuring out how far a long I am & its driving me a bit crazy!!! With Shiloh my doctor told me right away that I was barely 4 weeks with her when I had my blood test. But with this one they haven't told me & I don't have my first ultra sound until June 9th. For me that feels like forever away!!

Since March I have had a feeling I was pregnant.. you sometimes you just know. But I swear I took about 4 or 5 HPT & they were all negative! So I was like man it must just be me wanted it so bad now that I am just thinking I am. Then in April I had a visit from Auntie Flow, but now I am thinking it was not her visiting at all. Maybe I am actually further a long then we thought.. instead of 6 weeks along I could be 12 weeks along. I know that is a big jump but my cycle is very weird.

I just feel like I am really big for only being 6 weeks. I know they say with your second you show a lot sooner.. but I already have a bump & its not one I can really hide anymore! I mean maybe its twins but even then am I already suppose to be showing? I just want to know LOL

Here is the BIG BELLY

I am one of those people that while pregnant I am very organized, I have everything planned out & set within the first trimester & I am crazy with anxiety!! So this not knowing if I am due in November or January is killing me. Also not knowing if it is twins is as well.. I am so not good at having patients when it comes to baby LOL I wanna know now I don't want to wait & when it comes to the sex I wish you knew right away because it seems to take for ever to get to the 18th week to know!

Other then me feeling huge, I am actually feeling really good. I am still adjusting to being tired all the time but other then that no sickness or feeling nauseous {unless in the car} since March & the dizziness only appears when I need to eat or fluids. Eating & smells aren't an issue with this pregnancy either.. I want to eat EVERYTHING & I do LOL! With Shiloh I was only able to eat fruit, veggies & cheese burgers from McDonald's & if Stephen was going to cook I had to have him open all the windows & I had to shut myself in our room. I am using the bathroom a LOT & that gets frustrating at night because already I am having a hard time sleeping & getting comfy so it seems like once I am comfy I have to run to the bathroom. Emotionally I feel good, I am super sensitive though & I have purposely been avoiding anyone who is negative because I don't want to have any stress in this pregnancy like I did with Shiloh. I find that watching anything that is the least bit sad brings me to tears & even balling like a baby LOL & I am back & forth on certain things that I normally wouldn't be that way with. My tata's don't seem bigger just full & they are finally not hurting anymore.. well not like they were.

So with this pregnancy we are off to a good start.. I can't wait for June 9th to find out how far a long I am & if there is one or two beans in the belly. I think we are set on our names & we are already making a list of things we are going to need when baby comes!

Flores Family Vacation

So Shiloh, Stephen & I took a week to get away & celebrate us. We left on Mother's Day & drove east to Lake Chelan Washington. The drive was long & we actually ended up going to wrong way thanks to our lovely navigation the really needs to be updated. But we brushed off the frustration & finally arrived to our timeshare.

We went swimming {I tried twice but it made me sea sick} in the indoor pool since their outdoor pools where still closed, shopped in the cut town, went to a few winery's & just relaxed & enjoyed each others company.

I have to tell you though next time we decided to vacation over there we need to go in summer {June or July months} or winter. May just has nothing going on so towards the last few days we were going a little stir crazy. But all in all it was so nice to get away & take sometime to spend together before all the craziness stats with Mary Kay, Stephen's work events, Family events & visits from out of town & the BABY #2!!

I don't want anyone thinking that I wasn't happy to celebrate our

Two Year Anniversary

because I am. I just didn't blog about it because well I wanted to share what we did to Celebrate this year. Our Anniversary was on Monday May 10th.. two years ago on that day we said our "I Do's" & we became one. I love him more & more each minute that passes. I don't think their is another man out there meant for me. I love that we can laugh, cry & share so much together. He is truly my Best Friend & the greatest husband & father I know. I love my husband so so much & I love that we get to spend the rest of our lives together!

I will blog more about what we have been up to this week to celebrate our Anniversary on Monday May 17th. For now just know the three of us are enjoying each other & planning for our new addition to come in the near future❤

So I know its early on in my pregnancy {or maybe not will know more June 9th} but Stephen & I are going through names. We have a ton of names but now that the baby is on their way now we are trying to seal the name in stone :-) We are still unsure if we are having a girl or boy or maybe even twins.. so we want to hear some of the names other people love.

Now this is going to be harder then you think. We named our Daughter Shiloh Rose Flores which means:

Shiloh: His Gift

Rose: From the Cherryblossom

Flores: Flowers

So this baby has to match up with that. The name has to have a good meaning & be unique.. nothing dark or that means park or tree bark LOL. We need it to flow as well & it can't be a name that is too powerful.. we don't want them to carry the weight of a big name. So here are the names we have so far:

Dominic- Lord
Gabriel- God is my strength
Austin- Helpful
Christian- follower of Christ
Isaiah- God is salvation

Our Girl names:

The middle name for a boy would be Matthew & Girl would be Elaine or Nicole {depending on the name we choose}.

Baby Flores #2

On a drive we were taking on Sunday, Stephen & I got to talking about Baby Flores #2 & I have come to the conclusion that I may be further a long then we thought & here is why:

Back in March I started to get super tired, crazy & not so crazy cravings, peeing very often way more then normal, putting on a little extra weight, nauseous & more recently dizzy. In April right around the time my menstrual cycle was due I started spotting I thought humm this is odd.. the second day it was a little heavier but not by much & then by day four it was almost gone & that is when I started the fertility & then on day five it was gone.. I thought it was due to the fertility but now I am thinking it was implantation bleeding. If that be the case that would put me at 11 weeks prego.. which is crazy to me because the nauseousness didn't last very long & I actually feel pretty good and the only thing that reminds me that I am prego are constantly being super tired, cravings , extremely sore tatas & the bump that is visible. So if I am not that far along then there is a really good possibility it is twins since I am already pooping out.

As of now the pregnancy has been treating me well. I can actually take my prenatal vitamins & not get sick.. with Shiloh I had to switch to Flintstone Gummies & I could not keep a thing down except fruits, veggies & McDonald's. With this little Turkey I am able to eat EVERYTHING & I am loving it! I am having a hard time getting comfy & the closterfobic feeling has begun as well so I thinking because of that I am even more tired. I am still having dizzy spells from time to time & that is not fun but manageable now. But other then that I feel great.. I have the normal changes going on that come with pregnancy but nothing I can't handle. So its pretty nice.

I have my first Ultra Sound on June 9th so at that point we can see if there are two viable sacks or just one.. & if I am as far along as I think we are I may even find out the sex at that point too. I do however plan on calling the doctor tomorrow to see if I should come in sooner because I have to make sure to get the RhoGam shot because I am RH negative & I can't miss that.

We are still over joyed with excitement & feel so blessed to have this new life we have created growing in my belly. We are practicing names with Shiloh & getting her ready to be a big sister. I feel like a million pounds have been lifted off my shoulders & I no longer have to stress about having at least one more baby.. because our wish has come true.

1. I would love to have cozy one story home on a mature lot with a garden like feel. It would just be nice to not have to worry about stairs & baby gates.. so that is my #1 dream home.

2. I love the French Victorian homes too.. so if I could have one that is all fixed up like this one with all the charm & old feel I would love to have one.

So I love to shop & I love great buys. One place that I love to find great buys is on Overtstock.com.

I love to buy clothes for Shiloh & I love stuff that is funky & fun.. & I found some realy great stuff in their Children's Clothingt like this cute little outfit:

& it is only $2.95 for shipping which makes an even greater buy! I love a good deal when shopping online & most other sites charge so much for shipping so I usually pass on it.

I have also been looking into getting Shiloh some shelves for her room, ones that are not permanent so that I don't have big holes in the wall to patch & I found these in their Kid's Furniture which are just perfect & cute & go with her room design. I am going to go with the smaller one in pink.. & again it's only $2.95 for shipping! Can't beat that!

I also found this necklace in their Necklaces & Pendants & I want it! Its Mother's Day on Sunday & well hay I deserve it right? I am sure my hubby will have no problem getting it for me especially with the shipping only being $2.95. I think its beautiful & simple & that is the kind of jewlery I like.

Fertility Update

***FYI you may find that I share TMI but if don't want to know then DON'T Read :-)***

This post is intended for others who have had or are having fertility problems, questions & or are going through fertility treatments as I am or for the general reader curious as to what taking fertility entails!

So I haven't really shared my progress with you about my fertility & how it has been going. To be honest I didn't think I would have much to share... well I was wrong.

I started the pill clomid on April 5th and finished my first round on April 9th which where my cycle days 4 through 8. I didn't notice any changes.. no side effects nothing. The only thing that changed was my period was gone no more.. which means it only lasted 4 1/2 days.. well for me that is a dream come true because I NEVER have a short period it is always 7 days no matter what. So this was a nice thing to of come out of taking fertility.

So I started tracking for ovulation on the 10th day as instructed.. I went through two packs to be exact because on my last two sticks cycle days 23 & 24 it said I was ovulating. I was so excited because I didn't think I would.. I thought for sure I would have to have the clomid dosage upped.. so when I saw the two lines I jumped for joy. So I am sure you know what happened after that.

I want to say a week after I ovulated I started to feel different.. tingles in my chest area, nauseous {I always feel nauseous but a lot more then normal}, VERY EMOTIONAL.. I mean I couldn't even watch my tv programs & not cry & I am not a cry baby, clothes aren't fitting, I am super sensitive to light, & I am super tired ALL the time again!! Then the dizziness kicked in. I couldn't turn back to look at Shiloh in the car or I would get nauseous & dizzy, I could get up too fast.. dizzy, I could close my eyes to try & stop feeling dizzy & the room would feel like it was spinning, I could be sitting doing nothing.. dizzy.. anything I did or didn't do I was dizzy. So On Saturday I thought why not test you never know it may work.. but deep down I knew it was too soon.. so of course it was a BFN {Big Fat Negative}!

So now we are on cycle day 34.. well 35 since it is going to be after mid night when I post this :-) Then yesterday I had it bad.. I couldn't do anything! I couldn't pick Shiloh up, I couldn't move fast, I couldn't sit, lay or stand nothing.. it all made me dizzy. So I had to sit the entire afternoon on the couch until Stephen was home feeling like I could pass out at anytime. {This is not easy when you have a very active toddler mind you & its super scary! } Stephen of course asked if I had eaten.. I said yes.. everything in site! He then asked if I had water or fluids I said yes all day & it is making me need to pee every 20 mins! So then his response.. weird. Typical Male Response I must add LOL

Well then today I woke up feeling a little better.. I could still feel the dizziness in the back of my head but I was trying so hard to ignore it. Well we all got ready to start our day & it hit me.. dizzy again! Ugh I was so annoyed so I ate a Kellogs Bar.. didn't help.. had coffee.. made it worse.. then we get to the mall.. & I start feeling it a 100 times worse then ever. So I tell Stephen we need to go. It probably didn't help that I was in a panic because I forgot to pay our rent.. that is another thing that is happening.. I am forgetting EVERYTHING! But we head home.. after a few stops at some stores to pick up my next round of fertility {since I should start my next cycle soon} & some lunch. We arrive at home. I ate.. & I still felt horrible so I go & lay down.. I am shaking & starting to sweat which is never a good sign. So I call Dr. M.. leave a message & wait for a returned call.

2:45pm Nurse J calls me back.. I tell her what is happening & that its scaring me because it stats on the prescription if feeling the exact way that I am to call your physician immediately! She said she is not sure & wants to see what Dr. M recommends & that she will call me back in a little while to not leave. So I wait.. & wait & wait.. & by 5pm I am freaking out because its so bad that I now can barely sit up. So I call the nurse & hear the message the office is now closed.. so I hang up & call my mom.. she said to call back & get the on call Dr. So as I was doing so Nurse J was calling.. she told me to take a HPT {home pregnancy test} & said to call them in the morning to schedule some blood work to be done if it was negative {& of course it was negative. With Shiloh a home test didn't work for me & a blood test barely showed at 4 weeks & they had to retest me}.. so now I have been in bed most of the day & I am still super dizzy & wondering am I or am I not.. ??

The waiting is killing me.. but we shall know soon what is going on. If I am not .. well then I am not sure how much more of these fertility treatments I can take.. they are making me a crazy dizzy lady who cries over the small things & I don't know if I like that person very much & if I can handle 6 more months of her.. so I pray God is deciding its time for us soon to have baby #2 or I may just have to put my hopes on the shelf for now & take a break.. even if its against my Dr. orders & could lesson my chances even more.. because of my other medical condition that could return at anytime & ruin it ALL.

So I am praying that I am & that the blood test will show that. I pray that what ever this is will leave me soon & I can feel like myself again & most of all I pray that everything will turn out okay & that my health issues will still allow me to have another child & soon.

Fun Weekend of Ball Games & Sleep Overs

So this weekend we were lucky enough to get tickets to not just one ball game but two. On Saturday night Shiloh stayed at her bestie Olivia's house for the night & Stephen & I went to the Seattle Sounders Game. My father in law had tickets for a suite which was so amazing. We had food catered to us & free drinks & the view was awesome. We had so much fun watching our first soccer game live it was a night to remember that is for sure. The bad thing is now that we were spoiled we are always going to want a suite LOL.

Then on Sunday we went to a Mariner's Game with our good friends & their daughter Olivia. It was so fun taking the girls.. they did a lot better then we thought they would we made it to 5 innings so that was nice.

So it was a weekend of fun & first for Shiloh. She had her first Sleep over at Olivia's & her first ball game. It's so nice to have friends to hang out with & do things with, especially when they have kids the same age.

So I am sure most of you have noticed that I haven't been blogging like I was. Well there is good reason. I have started my own business.. yep you heard me correctly. I am now an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay. I have been busy setting up shop & training. So it has taken a lot of my time aside from caring for Shiloh.

I am also starting Shiloh in school on the 18th of this month. She will be attending on Tuesday's & Thursday's so I can focus on Mary Kay. She has been ready for this for a long time & I know she is going to LOVE it.

I love to blog & I am not giving that up.. so once the craziness settles down & I have my routine down.. I will be sharing with you the wonderful adventures in Mama & Mary Kay Life :-)

So Shiloh has always been very advance for her age. She starts EVERYTHING {teething, talking, sleeping in a big girl bed, yadda yadda} Well she can now count along with me all the way to 10. I think she is so gifted & she loves to learn. She is going to be starting school two days a week in mid May & I know she is going to blow them out of the water with all her knowledge. We have gone back & forth for a while now on weather or not we wanted to put her in school.. but she is so ready! She loves it when we tour a school.. its like who are these people {Stephen & I} & why are they trying to take me away from this cool place LOL. I feel so blessed to have such an amazing daughter!!

Self Confidence.. oh how that word haunts me. I am not one to have self confidence I never have.. weather it be my body, in work, my writing abilities, when has come to meeting new people or interest in men. I just don't have it.. I try so hard to act as though I do but I don't.. at least not the self confidence that I want to have.

So I signed up to be my own boss through a new company selling beauty products.. once I had talked to my friend about how well she was doing & all the awesome benefits the company has to offer I was sold.. & thrilled to finally make some money doing something I know I would love. After a few days reality has set in now.. I am so scared of failing, of not achieving the goals I want & for me to not have the self confidence that I know I need.

Its really frustrating to feel this way. Its like once I talk to someone from the company I get excited all over then.. when I sit down & look at all that is involved I am so overwhelmed that I just don't want to go any further. I don't like feeling this way.. I don't like feeling confused on what I should do or how I should feel. I am so scared at failing & I am even more afraid to invest & it not be a positive career path for me. I keep telling my self that I can do this that I do have what it takes.. then in the back of my mind I am left questioning myself... ugh!

I also have a job interview on Wednesday morning in Seattle working for a medical company making pretty good money.. I have already passed all their assessments so that is a good thing.. but now again I am worried that going to the interview is a waste. I am scared that I won't have what they are looking for or that since I have been staying home for the last two years they will be scared to hire me.. I am also scared that all the events we have coming up will prevent me from accepting the job, then there is also the worry of what if I get pregnant & can't work then I wasted their time & what if I continue to work until we have the baby then find I no longer want to? We know that Shiloh is ready for school & that she will love it.. but will I love not spending my days with her?? I am so scared & confused right now..

To continue staying home caring for Shiloh & babysitting on the side..
To stay home & also sell beauty products on my own terms...
or
To return to working a full time job??

These are the questions I have in my mind & I am having such hard time deciding.. why do something have to be so difficult?

So for a while last year I was on this binge of buying fake hair.. LOL my hair has been pretty short for a few years now so I go through my times of wanting it to be longer so I would buy clip in hair extensions LOL.

So for a long long time now I have wanted to get back into the beauty field. I love all things beauty: Make-up, facial's, hair, fashion.. you name it.. I love it! I have been looking into all avenues of how to get into the field & start a career but still maintain my home life & spend my days with my girl.

One of my friends who I used to work with back in Reno & I used to watch her daughter works for Mary Kay. I was noticing a lot of positive post & comments on her FB page so me of course wanted to know more. I have always wanted to work for Mary Kay I just thought the start up cost were going to be tremendous.. well I was wrong. So I told my friend I wanted to know more. So we chatted on the phone she told me all the amazing things starting your own business has to offer & how wonderful of a company it was & I was sold. So I told the hubby {okay asked} that I was going to sign up & get this thing started. He was excited for me as he always is.. I love the support he gives.

So if you know me you know that I love make-up.. & that I have been thinking of going to school to be an esthetician.. well my dream of making others feel as beautiful as they are is over.. I am officially an Independent Mary Kay Consultant & I couldn't be more excited.

I just signed up yesterday & today I am going to have my orientation & I can't wait to learn more. I feel so excited right now to be doing something that I have wanted to do for so long & that its my own business.. meaning my schedule, my own clients & how I want to run things & that is just awesome because as most people know I love to be in charge :-)

I am so excited for this new chapter in my life to begin & to start meeting some amazing women & doing something I passionate about. Like the saying goes.. "Love what you do & do what you love" & that is for sure what I am doing :-)

Once I get everything rolling I will let you all know!

So I haven't been babbling much lately.. just have had a lot of things going on I guess. I started the fertility which has made me an emotional wreak.. then last week Shiloh started to get sick.. then I was hit with Allergies AGAIN!! Then this weekend we spent most of our time trying to purchase a new car only to find that we should hold off for now so we can get exactly what we want. Then today I was informed by Shannon that they are not going to need me right now to watch Brandon after this week. So just a lot of craziness!! So I have been resting, caring for kids, working with car sales men & now job searching like crazy. Its been pretty busy around here.

On a positive note Shiloh has been sleeping in her bed EVERY night now since we purchased her toddler bed & she loves it. No luck with getting pregnant yet I may have to have them up my fertility because I am not ovulating which I should have by now I think?? Other then that I have been seeing what is out there as far as jobs & babysitting. I am also looking into returning to school to get certified in medical billing so I can do that.. so will see what happens there.

Lately I have been in this really weird funk of having no motivation.. I don't know if it is the fertility or just something I am going through but I really don't like it. I want to get things done but when it comes time to do them I find other things to do instead.. which is not good. Also I have been so exhausted.. so that doesn't help either.

Today I brought B to our house so I could get some things done around here & to apply for jobs. My sister in law is coming to stay the night with the kids tomorrow so I need to get my house ready.. {its so messy right now}.

But as of next week I will not have B any longer during the week.. sniff sniff. Shiloh & I are going to miss spending our days with him, its a good thing Shannon & I have become close so we can still visit & have play dates. In time they will need a sitter again.. so I know then I will have my days back with him if I don't find something else before then.

So that pretty much sums up what is happening with us. Hopefully soon we will receive some good news because we are in need of it & I think its about time for us since it has been a long time since we have had any really good news come our way.

I am learning to be be patient & to take things for what they are.. its not easy playing the waiting game.. but I just have to be thankful for ALL I do have & stop worrying so much about what we don't have. Life is too short right?

But it most certainly is ~~NOT ME~~ who has made over her blog more then once this week or even this month. I mean I would never have so much fun with this blog layout creation thing that I would spend hours on it & even stay up way past my bed time to get it perfect.. I mean who does that.. ~~NOT ME~~!!

We have been eating out A LOT.. more then any person should.. its so unhealthy & expensive.. but it is ~~NOT ME~~ who refuses to cook lately.. I mean I love to cook so why would I stop wanting too? It is also ~~NOT ME~~ who has her hubby cook on the nights we don't eat out.. I would never ask my hard working hubby to come home & cook for us.. No Way Jose.. that is my job right?

This is Shiloh on mornings that we don't have to be up early. This is Shiloh in her NEW IKEA chair that she loves.. while at the cardiologist a few weeks back they had this same chair.. she loved it. So being the spoiled princess she is.. Daddy wanted to buy it for her.. okay I did as well. This is Shiloh with her Milky, her Kylie's {all her babies are named Kylie like her cousin} & yes those are Shiloh's Trix Cereal ALL over my living room floor. Every time I give her cereal this is what she does.. but I still continue to give it to her.. she eventually either picks them all up putting them back in her bowl or she eats them.. then later in the day I vacuum to get the crumbs..

So this is My Shiloh on a regular morning doing her regular routine of being my messy sweet loving girl❤

Little Miss Independent!

So my dear sweet 18 month old is turning into quite the big girl. She loves her new bed. In fact for 5 nights straight now she has slept through the night in her own bed. When its time to go night night we tell her lets brush our teeth & then get in our big girl bed & she gets up & walks to the stairs. She also now lets me know when she is ready for bed or a nap too.

Today she got up from playing grabbed pink {her blanket} & went up the stairs & was shaking the gate. So I let her through & she ran to her room & starting shaking the gate on her door so I put her in her room. She looks back at me & says "nigh nigh" climbs in her bed & covers herself up & goes "Muah". I was in such shock.. for someone who would scream & cry & throw everything out of her crib that she could & then would scream for as long as possible until we saved her from going to nigh nigh in her crib.. to telling me its nigh nigh time.. is amazing!

I feel so much better each day now that I don't have to share my bed with her or have to get up at night & save her from her bed. The girl LOVES her new toddler bed & I couldn't be more excited & proud. She is becoming so independent {just like me} & I love it but at the same time it makes me sad. She is growing way too fast!! I want her to stay my sweet baby forever.

This is my 2nd week of FF & I have to say I LOVE it!

Here goes.. it's a long story:

The picture I am sharing this week was taken Christmas 1998.. this was rough month for me. I think about a week before Christmas I was in a horrible accident. I never used to were my seat belt.. I mean none of the cool kids did RIGHT? Well I learned a very hard lesson this year. I was dating a boy who begged me to drive my car, mind you he didn't have a license.. I was the type of girlfriend & person who never wanted to upset anyone so I always gave in weather I wanted to or not.. but this was one of those times were I should not have & I should have listen to my gut feeling.. but of course being 17 & in puppy love I thought why not we are just going a couple of blocks away. Well not even 2 blocks away he went through the light hitting another car head on & I in return went through the windshield because I was not wearing my seat belt & well my boyfriend & I were in a panic & he told me we had to switch seats before the cops arrived & me being seriously injured & in shock went with it.. him telling me I would be in serious trouble didn't help either. But again me being the nieve nice girl agreed.

Now all this sounds horrible & yes it was a very traumatic experience for me & for every one involved.. but I think the person who was scared to death the most was my sister. You see she was driving down the same street.. the street they had to close down for hours because of our accident.. & well she saw my car & had her boyfriend pull over.. she told the police that it was my car & he said that all he could tell her was all parties went to Winter Park Hospital. So of course my poor sister seeing my car demolished & that they had to use the jaws of life to get me out, imagined the worst. Once she arrived to the hospital {I was still in shock & it is still all a blur to me} she came in my room & saw that my face was half gone & freaked out "OMG Missy are you okay?".. my reaction "Sorry about your shirt". I was wearing her boyfriends shirt & it was covered in blood. After a getting most the glass out of my head, eyes, hair & odd places.. scans & test I was released to my aunt. My parents were at a Christmas Party & didn't find out till later what had happened.

The worst part of this story is that I lied to everyone.. I kept up the story that I was driving for years.. I think until I was 21 or something.. I was terrified of how disappointed my family would be in me & I was scared that I would be in BIG trouble. Once I told them it was a huge relief & my mom said that she new deep down that I wasn't driving.. I hated lying to her.. it was a very depressing thing for me.

So I learned a lot of lessons in this: A: Do not let anyone drive your car, B: Don't lie because it is the worst feeling in the world & C: ALWAYS wear your seat belt. My mom always has told me that accidents happen within 20 miles of the home.. & man was she right. So here is the picture of my lovely face on Christmas.. its a good reminder to me of how grateful I am that I am here today & that nothing worse happened.

It is something that I am going to share with my kids & others, because most people always think that it won't happen to them.. but it could. My face is normal now for the most part.. I do have a scars that like to come out when I get sun on my face but over the years it has faded. I have nerve damage in my right eye so my eye doesn't open as much as my left & shards of glass got into my eyes so it has caused some damage with my sight as well. They thought I was going to need plastic surgery but I just caked on the Vitamin E & made sure to stay out of the sun for the most part. The scar's are a constant reminder to me of hard lessons learned. The worst parts were going to Reno to visit my Dad for New Years & having a mom point out to her kids that I was a prefect example as to what happens when you don't were your seat belt. {I get why she did it but she humiliated me} Then the biggest let down was returning home to find my boyfriend the one who was driving my car.. was cheating on me.. so yes it was a rough time for me but it all made me so much stronger as a person & I thank my lucky stars for sure!

Shiloh's New Big Girl Room

So if you read my post from yesterday {She Will ALWAYS Be My Baby Girl} you would know that Shiloh is now in a toddler bed. So we decided to give her room a new look.. something I have been dying to do!! I wanted something bright & colorful & fun. So with the bedding we found at Target {love that store} they also had these really cute stickers for the wall & since we don't own were we live painting isn't an option so finding these were super awesome!! I made a border around the room & hung her pictures {finally} along with a new one that also matches her bed. Oh I love it & I can't wait till we buy a house again & I and paint too. I also am going to revamp her dresser here soon when we have a nice day again & I have someone to watch the monkey. So stay tuned will share that soon.

So I missed last week because we were at my in laws still from Easter.. sorry about that.

But this week well let me share..

For Easter my sister in law "Laura a.k.a Lo" made the kids Easter Baskets this year. {We take turns} Well as they were all going through their baskets I noticed Shiloh was having a melt down so it was ~~Not Me~~ who had to capture her in her moment of melting down.. it is also ~~Not Me~~ who has fallen in love with the picture & wants to actually frame it & put it up in my house.. I mean what mom takes a picture of their child throwing a fit & wants to share it with the world.. ~~Not This Mom~~:

Shiloh is a sneaky little bugger these days.. she knows that having candy in the house is rare.. she knows that mama {me} always throws it out after a couple of days because if not she {me} will eat it all. So she was on the hunt this week.. anytime she found an egg {which we for some reason have them ALL over our house} she opens it & stuffs her mouth full of jelly beans or what ever candy is in it super fast before I can get it. Yeah that is my 18 month old. But it was ~~Not Me~~ who new she was up to no good & allowed it anyways.. nope I didn't sit there & take these pictures of her stuffing her face full of jelly beans.. I mean what mom allows her baby to eat candy?? ~~Nope Not I~~!!

Shiloh has been taking late naps lately.. she hasn't been sleeping well because if you read my post from yesterday {She Will ALWAYS Be My Baby Girl} you will see what our sleeping issues are. But the other day it was ~~Not Me~~ who had to take another cute picture of my grumpy girl when she had awoken from her nap before she wanted to. I mean first of all I would never allow my child to take a nap after 3 PM or sleep till after 5 PM.. & then wake her child up because its dinner time.. No Way I am not that mean of a mommy!!

She Will ALWAYs Be My Baby Girl

So since shiloh was born we have had the hardest time getting her to sleep in a bassinet, crib & playpen. It's been a back & forth battle that has put a lot of strain on us. Shiloh will cry at night in her crib.. sometimes I let her cry for an hour sometimes a little less. Other times she falls asleep after crying so long but only for a few hours & then wakes up screaming.. so into our bed she goes. I have tried EVERYTHING!! I have let her fall asleep on the couch with us then we put her in her bed & then she will wake up almost always in the middle of the night crying again. We have tried letting her just cry & cry & cry & it just never stops so what do we end up doing.. bringing her in our bed. Some nights we are lucky & we get a full nights sleep & our beds to ourselves but not always like it should be. I can't remember the last night I had a good nights sleep.. or my back didn't hurt from only getting a smidge of the bed because Shiloh has decided to sleep horizontal in the bed. I can't remember having a week where I didn't wake up to a foot in my face.. kick in the ribs.. or her head butting me. The bigger she gets the worse it is. Don't get me wrong I love snuggling my baby.. I love that she hates being away from us.. but I also love sleep & to be comfortable while I sleep.

So we have gone back and forth since she turned a year old about converting her to a bed.. the questions that we have been replaying are like a broken record: "Is she too young still" "Should we just fight it a little longer" "We need to be stronger about not getting her" "Do we get her a toddler bed, convert her crib or just get her a twin bed" "Are we bad parents because we can't get her to sleep in her bed" "Do we spoil her" "If we get her a bed then this means she isn't a baby anymore doesn't it" so now not only have I been loosing sleep because sharing the bed or being woken up to her crying but now I have been having anxiety that keeps me up late & questions & thoughts replaying in my head.

So we finally decided it was time. Time for Shiloh to have a big girl bed.. we have been looking at different ideas for the last few months & today we went & looked again & had her test them out & she was quite the trooper. I must say if she had it completely her way she would get a bunk bed because she loved those for sure.. but they scare me & I don't want a bed that big in my baby girls room. We thought about a twin bed but they were all so high she would have a heck of a time getting in & out. We really were going to get her a daybed with a trundle bed so when she had sleep overs with Olivia or her cousin or for days I had B at our house there would be an extra bed.. but it just seemed like a big bed for her & it was pretty expensive because I wanted the wood one of course. In the end we ended up getting her a simple cute toddler bed from Target. It was inexpensive & we ended up finding some really cute bedding to go with it.

Once Stephen was done putting it together we let Shiloh in to see what she thought & this was her reaction:

So a new milestone has started. Shiloh is no longer a baby.. she is officially a toddler in her sweet toddler bed with her sweet self. Lets cross our fingers she will now sleep in her room in her bed & allow us to have a our bed to ourselves now.

I was going through my photo's & I found this one. Shiloh was only 6 month old here. I have to say this is one of my favorite pictures of her. It captures all her beauty. We had just moved to Seattle from Portland & I think her & I were just laying on the bed having girl talk {we have a special language} & I love still to this day doing that with her.. having conversation that only she understand.. it so special to me. I love her brown eyes & how round they are & her skin that looks & is so so soft. Her smile that is so contagious & her presence this is so beautiful. I love this child of mine I love all the joy & happiness she has brought into my life. There is no greater love then the love a mother has for her child❤

Crafty Idea For Mother's Day

So my mom is one of those mom's who would much rather us kids {even though we are grown} make her something that comes from the heart then to spend money on a material thing that is just a thing. Mother's Day is my one of my favorite days to celebrate & to make special somethings for my mom, sister & mother in law. This year I decided to make cute frames. It cost me about $40 for everything.. some of the stuff I had in my scrapbook collection.. but the main stuff I purchased with the $40 at Ben Franklin.

1st you will need to but wooden frames:

Cost $4.99 each

2nd You need to pick out scrapbook stickers you want to place on your frame {I did this before the paper to give me inspiration}.

Cost $4.49 each

3rd You need to pick out your scrap paper. If you have some in your scrapbook stuff even better :-) also you will need either scissors or an x-acto knife.. I found the scissors are better

Cost $.99 each

4th you will need Mod Podge & a sponge. There are 3 different kinds of Mod Podge I purchased the satin for a shinny finish.

Cost $5.99

5th Take the frame & scrap paper & trace the outer part of the frame & the inner part of the frame.

6th take the x-acto knife & cute the inner square out {that sounds funny to me.. hehe} & then take the scissors & cutter the outer square.

Now this is what you should have completed.. so far.

7th take the mod podge & get some one the sponge {NOT A TON EITHER} & put in on frame. Then place the paper on the wood. Then paint over the paper once you have it in place with more mod podge.

8th.. now the hard sticky work is done.. now decorate it up.. I used scrap piece's & the scrapbook stickers to make it my own..

Now you have to let it sit for awhile & don't worry about the bubbles.. as it is drying smooth them out.. but wait about a 1/2 hour before doing that. Then when you are done finish it off with a sweet picture & you will have your finished product.

I am also going to write a sweet message on the back of the frame & date it as well.. I just need to find my permanent marker... humm

So that is it.. I would give an estimated time on making this if I didn't have an 18 month old who is the center of the world in our house hold so it did take me ALL afternoon to do this :-) mostly while she napped so I would guesstimate about 2 hours.. but that is because I didn't want to mess it up.

A Day Of Silence for Ethan Loney

To I woke up & started reading my tweets while lying in bed with Shiloh. As I went down further I was sad to find that Ethan Loney had passed away this morning. My heart instantly went to my throat & the tears started to poor. I am so sad for him & the short life he lived.. my heart aches for his parents & family who will miss him so much.. I couldn't imagine. I have been following his story through Adventures of A-Wanna Be Supha Mommy along with Janden's stroy as well. I don't use the word Hate but today I am for sure.. I HATE CANCER & I HATE YOU for taking life away from others too soon!! IT'S NOT FAIR!

I am making today A Day of Silence in memory of Ethan.. & for me to spend the day with Shiloh loving her & being thankful for good health. People are also releasing a White Ballon with a message for him today as well.

To everyone with Children hug them a little tighter today❤

Would You Cringe Over This?

So I am going to admit one of my flaws as a mommy. I allow my daughter to watch TV.. I am one of those people who can't just sit around in silence. I mean Shiloh babbles but she is not nearly as loud as the TV noise. So YES I am a person who has the TV on ALL day pretty much, unless we are reading books, coloring or doing some sort of craft. But its not always cartoons on my TV its Music too. I know.. I know it's horrible. I have tried to not have it on & it is just creepy. I don't like it.
But even thought I do have the TV on most days it is always educational or HGTV & if not it's the music channel.. at night my husband & I of course watch our shows & during nap time I watch my soaps but the rest of the time its.. Yo Gabba Gabba Yo Gabba Gabba Yo or Dora Dora Dora The Explorer LOL. During the day I mostly have Nick Jr. on I think its one of the better channels. Tell me that is horrible but honestly she doesn't sit glued to the TV.. she is 18 months & her attention span is not that big so most of the time its just background noise. But she does love Yo Gabba Gabba, Dora, The Wiggles & Ni how kai lan but all the other shows she could honestly care less about. I know most will have their own opinion & disagree but she does actually learn from these shows. She says words in the other languages, learns new words & she talks back to the TV all the time when they ask questions. So maybe it can rot your brain but she does also learn from it as well & Stephen & I do know most of the them songs sadly enough LOL.

Feelings on Fertility

So yesterday I took my first round of the clomiphene or clomid as most know it by. I had to wait longer then I wanted to start it because my cycle once again went off track.. so of course I was excited & thought I was pregnant. But on the 44th day into my cycle the lovely aunt flow paid a visit. I was happy but yet sad.. so many emotions come from trying to conceive I just am at a loss for how to feel any more. I get excited talk to friends about it & then she shows up. For a few months my cycle was regular for probably the first time in years!! So of course I was super happy & it made me feel so hopeful.. but it didn't last long for me to fall off track again & for all those sad frustrating feeling to return. For a YEAR now we have actively tried for another baby.. & for people who are in the same boat or who have had fertility problems themselves know that its draining.. all the hope that comes with it starts to turn to sadness frustration & for me.. made me not even want to try anymore. For people who don't have problems conceiving who can get pregnant without the waiting or having to go on fertility you would never understand.. at least not like someone who has gone through it. I don't want anyone to think that I am ungrateful because I am far from that I feel so fortunate to have Shiloh who was a miracle baby & who was conceived naturally. I thank the man above for giving us her & for allowing her to be the center of our world. I just want another baby for her to have a sibling & for us to have two {or 3 or 4 or even more} miracles to love & care for.
If you don't know me on a personal level then you would not know how much I LOVE CHILDREN. Since I was a little girl I have always been a mom, weather it was to my dolls, cat {RIP Scooter}, cousins or just the neighborhood kids. I have ALWAYS dreamed of the day that I could have a real baby & be the mom that my mom inspired me to be. I remember telling my mom for my 16th birthday I didn't want a car like most teens want, I wanted a mini van so I could have it for when I have all my babies. Being a mom was always my dream & I now love that I am one.. I just want at least one more.
I always wanted a house full of kids.. I think the sound of little feet running through the house & laughter is the most amazing thing. I love hearing Shiloh giggle & run around moving the furniture playing with her toys.. being a mommy to her babies. I love cuddling with her & spending my days with her.. while most people dream of having their dream career as a nurse, lawyer, manager of a company or to own their own company.. my dream was to be happily married & to be a stay at home mom. Looking at Shiloh & knowing she is my daughter.. is something that as a mom makes me so happy & at times even tears me up because I feel so lucky to have this life & this beautiful child. To this day I still sometimes go.. "Am I dreaming.. I am really a MOM.. Life is good.. really good" and smile because this is all I ever dreamed of. I have the most amazing supportive husband who stands by me & loves me at times more then I deserve.. I think when you have someone amazing to share you life with & someone who is an amazing father it makes you want babies or more babies in my case.
So as we start this new chapter with trying for baby #2 I am excited, hopeful & yet scared. I am excited that I am taking clomid & that my chances of conceiving are higher now, hopeful because so many have conceived on it & yet scared that I am going to be one of the ones that it does not work for. I have to stay positive though I am not a negative person & honestly can't stand people who always complain or who are negative so I am not going to turn into my worst nightmare.. I am just going to keep an open mind.. continue thanking God for all he has blessed me with & remind myself each day that everything happens when its suppose to not necessarily when we want them to! I know I am suppose to have another baby or even babies... I know that Shiloh is not made to be an only child that she is meant to be a big sister.. & I know that if we can't have a baby naturally there is always Option B.. Adoption, which I would still love to do even if we are able to conceive. I think for now its taking one day at a time.. start enjoying the process & stop looking at it as something that could turn out to be nothing & look at it as something that can turn into something wonderful. So wish me luck & I will keep you posted ;-)

Happy Easter

I know its a few days late!

This Easter we once again spent it at my in laws & it is so wonderful. It something we have done well since we have been together.. & now with Shiloh. My brother in laws & sister in laws & all the kids go to what we refer to them as the "Rents" for a few days of lots of stomach stuffing, cooking, games & lots of laughs & great memories. We always have a wonderful time & this year was so amazing now that both the girls {Shiloh & Kylie} are at an age where they can interact & kind of understand what the Easter Egg Hunt is all about.. but Chad {my 3 year old nephew} he of course showed us all how it is done. The girls were so adorable all dressed up. I love taking pictures of them.. but I do feel bad that I hardly took any of my adorable nephew Chad.. my love for him runs just as deep but Kylie seemed to steal the show. So this is for March.. I am a day late I know sorry.

1.Our new HD TV by Samsung. We just love it & how amazing the picture quality is. We didn't go too big we are waiting till be buy another house before doing that but this one is perfect for now.

2. Our new phones.. we have been waiting patiently to get them & we finally did. Our iPhones. I love it. I don't think I will ever get a different phone.. I love Apple ;-)

3. There is this dress that I have been dying to buy Shiloh but everytime I went to Target they never had it in her size.. but I FINALLY found one & I think it is the cutest thing EVER.

4. This is a great one for mom's who don't like sticky messes when it comes to snack time or who is looking for snacks on the go. Brothers All Natural Dried Fruit Snacks are awesome & the best part is they are all natural!! I was introduced to them by Shannon the mom I sit for. I just love them & so do the kiddos.You can find these at Costco.

5. So since we have moved to Seattle/Tacoma I have been dying to find the house from 10 Things I Hate About You. {I know but I LOVE that movie still to this day} Well the other day we had time to kill before Shiloh's doctor appointment & we googled it on our cool iPhones & found it.. It has an amazing view of the harbor & it is in the cutest neighborhood.. but it does need a paint job LOL. But I am so glad we finally found it.

I wanted to Thank Everyone for their prayers & for keeping our sweet Shiloh in their thoughts! The cardiologist said that she just has murmur but not one to worry about or to be concerned over. Stephen & I both are so very happy with the results & tonight will be a good night of sleep & all the worry I have had & anxiety is out the window now with these results.

Here is a video of our very happy, energetic 18 month year old.. having a blast at the cardiologist office today!

I think the cardiologist & nurses are glad we wont be back anytime soon.. & hopefully NEVER :-)

Oregon Visit

Sorry I haven't posted in so long my allergies have had the best of me. But this weekend we took a much needed trip to Oregon to visit with my Brother & Sister in law & kids. With all this heart stuff Shiloh is having we just need to get away & take our minds off all of it.
My sister in law's sister Lisa is having a baby. So we attended her shower.. well Shiloh & I did. Daddy went golfing with uncle Joey. We love spending time down there & having the kids play together. We also had a fun day of shopping as well which Shiloh just loved!! Here are some pictures from our visit.

Tomorrow is Shiloh's 2nd cardiologist appointment to have an echo done & to speak with the cardiologist in regards to her arrhythmia. We are staying positive & praying that it is nothing more then a murmur. So please keep our baby girl in your thoughts & prayers.

So today we had to take Shiloh to get a chest x-ray & to have an EKG. She has a heart murmur & the doctor just wanted to make sure it is nothing to fuss about. We did receive an up date later today that she does have a small arrhythmia so we are going to have to go back to the Cardiologist on Tuesday the 30th for an Echo test now. I am scared but staying positive.. I have to for my sweet girl.

Then we headed to Seattle to see Uncle Andrew. This time of year the Cherry Blossoms are in bloom at UW {University Of Washington}. It was such a beautiful day. Blue skies, Sunny & in the high 60's. I love this weather & wish it was spring year round. Shiloh had so much fun running & chasing her uncle & us it was so great to see her smiling. She is such a sweet, loving, happy girl & we couldn't ask for more. We were also able to get some great pictures while there so here is what we got.. Not My Child Monday

Shiloh is learning new words everyday.. she loves watch me say them & for me to repeat them & sometimes she learns words & we are like "WOW where did she learn that from" LOL. But one word she learned out of the blue was ball. The first day I ever watched B she found a ball & came running to me with it saying "Ball" but ~~It Is Not My Child~~ who say "Bowl" I even got her on video saying it below:

Saturday while I was cleaning up the kitchen Shiloh kept coming in the kitchen & whipping her hands on her pants.. I noticed she was coming from the bathroom. So I thought she was doing her normal sticking of her hands in the toilet.. so I of course went in & closed the lid.. well to my surprise I found this in the toilet..

NO WAY... ~~Not My Child~~.. her doll who we named Kylie before my niece was born so Shiloh could learn to be nice to babies.. well I am guessing she was trying to give her a bath.. LOL well baby Kylie is now bye bye.

The other night we had dinner at Olive Garden with our friends.. Shiloh was doing so well eating with a spoon. But it was ~~Not My Child~~ who was afraid of her own pasta LOL I mean who gets scared feeding themselves LOL:

Point Defiance Zoo

So we have been having amazing weather the last few days.. sunny & in the high 50's & even 60's. I have missed the sun & the warm weather so we figured why not get out & enjoy it. So yesterday we decided after Shiloh's 18 month check up we would take her & B to the Zoo. We haven't been to the Zoo yet in Washington.. so we were excited to take on a new adventure.
We didn't get there until about 3 PM due to Shiloh's check up & lunch. But once we did got to the Zoo it was so nice out & it was like we had it all to ourselves since we arrived so late in the day. The kids loved it.. but next time I think we need to go before nap time because both only had a nap in the car & was not nearly as long as I am sure they hoped for or needed. Not Me Monday

I love to vacuum.. {I know I am a weirdo} I love to see the tracks from vacuuming & if there are little feet that ruin the tracks I vacuum over them.. that is how much I love it.. can we say OCD anyone? Anyways I was vacuuming our room on Tuesday & it was ~~NOT ME~~ who didn't realize that the hose was off & while I was vacuuming in front of the window it was ~~NOT ME~~ who sucked the curtains off the wall. Nope I would never notice the first one come down & continue vacuuming so that it would suck the second one down too.. oops.. that was added to my honey do list that has yet been touch LOL.

So Shiloh has been doing really well with sleeping in her bed since we moved to the new house.. well until the last week or so. She has been going to bed at nigh no problem.. but every night around 2 or 3 she has been waking up screaming & crying.. & it is ~~NOT ME~~ who every time rather then sooth her back to sleep & try to attempt to get her to stay in her bed just brought her into our bed to sleep for the night.. we are not going back to that again..

So we had a busy weekend & went out of town on Friday for the night & returned Saturday.. but it is ~~NOT ME~~ who has not cleaned, unpacked or picked up since I have been home.. nope I would NEVER allow my house to be a mess or stay a mess for more then 24 hours.. my OCD would never except that. I mean who's house looks like this?? Certainly not mine..

I am participating in this weeks I "heart"... at You and Me Plus Three. Go there now to add yours and read others!! I ♥ my sister who celebrated her 30th Birthday this past Sunday. Nicole thank you for being older.. I love & miss you so much & can't wait to see you soon!
I ♥ having amazing friends. I think its amazing that even though with some we have had our ups & downs, grown apart/chosen different paths in life & have a huge distances between us we always remain friends & I think that is what real friendship means. I ♥ Zac my dog that was put to rest yesterday. He was the best dog & made our lives better & will be so missed.I ♥ that our Tax guy was wrong about the amount we owed on our taxes & that we were able to get it corrected so that we can now receive a refund.I ♥ the Terrible 2's that have now started with Shiloh. Without them my patient would not be tested on a daily basis & my ability to stay calm in the most awkward of situations.I ♥ my new doctor that I met yesterday for the first time who is determined to get me pregnant & soon! I ♥ living near Seattle.. I love the big city & that I can drive there in less then an hour :-)

Fertility

So today I met with a new doctor that I am going to refer to as Dr. M. She was awesome. I tell you having a doctor you feel comfortable with is so important! She & I went over my conditions & what is to come & of course the next step for me to conceive & she decided that putting me on Clomid was the best thing for me. I was hesitant before about starting fertility because A: I still wanted to conceive naturally B: I think I was in denial & C: Cost. We have never been concerned with multiples.. well at least I haven't, Stephen is still scared. I think our biggest concern was cost, but after speaking with Dr. M she said she has never had anyone tell her that it was not affordable & that the generic is covered by my insurance so we will see. I will start it this month & she gave me 6 refiles. She also told me to buy a ovulation test so I can make sure I am ovulating & so we know for sure. So I am scared.. but excited that our chances of conceiving are higher now & that the waiting is almost over for us to have another baby.
Dr. M feels this is the best thing for me at this time since we are wanting more children. She said that I am going to need to have a hysterectomy once I am done having babies due to my medical conditions but that carrying the baby should not be an issue.. but that they will monitor me through my first trimester just to make sure. She said with Clomid there are risk of cyst forming on my ovaries but she didn't seem to concerned with it at the moment.
So I am really excited & happy that we can now hopefully get pregnant & soon. I will keep you posted once I start the Clomid this month & let you know my progress & all the side effects so that other people who are considering this can see my experience.
Dr. M said that if this does not work in 6 months she has one other oral medicine to put me on & then if that does not work then I have to see a specialist about other forms of fertility.
So cross your fingers for us & keep us in your prayers that we can conceive & soon with a healthy baby in the next few months.

Great Day

So today was a great day.. well aside from this horrible stomach ache I have had all day but what's new. Anyways.. it started with Stephen getting up with Shiloh & allowing me to sleep in until about 9 AM. I made Stephen & I egg sandwiches for breakfast & then when we were dressed & packed we headed out the door. First we tried going to the DMV to get our address changed on our license but it was packed.. so we headed to Bellevue's DMV.. & that one was PACKED. So we gave up on that. Then headed to Sammamish & we both got our hair cut.. Stephen's turned out well but the girl went a little clipper happy.. oops & mine turned out wonderful.. NO MORE MULLET YAY! Ok it wasn't a complete mullet but it sure did feel like it. Then we had sushi which I have been dying to have for days now. Then we went to see our Tax guy Bob. If you read my When it Rains it Pours then you would know we were told we had to pay a lot in taxes. I never said how much because I was embarrassed but it was $14K.. yeah so you can see why I almost fainted & had a heart attach that day. Well anyways we found out some SUPER GREAT news that we actually don't owe that at all.. LONG STORY.. & we are actually going to be getting some money back. Not a ton.. but that is expected since we don't own a home anymore but hay.. its money we didn't expect so that is wonderful. So after that great news we headed home... but of course we made a few stops on the way. We looked at some model homes & no we aren't looking to buy just yet but we just like to look & see what is out there. Then after that we went to a few stores & then had dinner at Red Robin & headed home. I was still feeling super sick so I laid down for a bit while Stephen called Comcast to let them know that once again our service is not working. This time the internet!! Ugh so annoying I can't wait until our contract is up with them in April so we can get Direct TV back. Anyways that was my super great day with my two loves. Oh & Shiloh's new favorite word is "NO" everything is "No" now.. its so cute & funny.. man do I love that child. My husband is amazing too.. I am one lucky lady :-)

New Hair Cut

Well it was Not Me who decided to not have a Not Me Monday.. no way I would never skip the fun of sharing with all of you my Not So Me Moments.. Never :-(

Sorry I did not participate today. I didn't have time this morning to post before going over to B Boys for the day. Then this afternoon I received some upsetting news from my sister that our family dog "Zac" is very sick & that they are going to have to put him down on Thursday. This will be the third family animal that we are having to say good bye to. First was my cat Scooter who I had from first grade so age 6 or 7 until I was 23, he grew up with me.. was my first love & child LOL. Then our beloved Booger he was our silly cat.. we used to eat pop tarts & have milk together in the morning before school.. we had him for almost as long as Scooter & he passed away in 2007. Then there is Zac our springer spaniel who my step father "Poppy" bought for my mom when I was in 7th grade. I remember going to the pet store with them to pick out a dog.. it was either Zac or a cute pug & we just fell in love with Zac. I remember getting him home & my mom taking him out to use the bathroom & he jumped in the pool. It scared my mom half to death & she jumped in with ALL her clothes on to save him.. not realizing her was born to swim in the pool. He swam in our pool more then any of us which I know thrilled my parents that the pool was finally getting its use. He was a hyper dog.. & could be a pain in the rear most the time.. but we are going to miss him so very much. My heart aches that I can't be there to say my good byes.. & to be there for my mom & Poppy.. loosing a pet is so hard, he is part of our family & he will be greatly missed. He lived a long happy life.. but good byes are never easy or something I have been good at.. so this is a hard one for me to except.. it wont really hit me until I visit Florida "Home" again & he is not there to great me :-(

A Day In Seattle

So today we went into Seattle. I love Seattle, every part of the city is beautiful to me & so interesting. We had breakfast in Pike Place & then walked around the market. We picked up fresh fruit & flowers & on our walk around town found a cute candy shop called Rocky Mountain Candy Factory & picked up two candy apples for a treat. It was over cast today & pretty cold down there since it is on the waterfront but it was still amazing as always. There was this amazing singer in the market with such a unique voice.. I wanted to take her picture but I didn't if was OK so I didn't but I am sure one day she will be famous.. I would like to hope so at least. Shiloh loves all the people & to say "Hello". She always receives so many complements & that makes my heart fill with happiness. I love Seattle & that we can take a short drive & be there. I wanted to share with you our day in pictures.. Necklace Frame

Are you tired of your necklaces getting all knotted or not remembering what ones you have? Well if so I have a solution.. it's simple fun & easy to make & its a conversational piece.. a Necklace Frame. I have been wanting to do this for so long & I finally got around to it. I got the idea online but I honestly can't remember where. So here is how I did it:

-1-First you will need a frame {I had one that I never used anymore}. The size just depends on how big you want it to be & how many necklaces you will be hanging.

-2-Second you will need to get spray paint in the color of you choice. I used Valspar Odd's N Ends fast dry enamel spray paint in Creme.

-3-Third you will need to get contact paper cork board. It comes in a roll.

-4-Fourth use either cardboard or newspaper so that you don't kill your grass or stain the concrete. You will want to spray paint the frame Outside! Spray until your get the desired color.

-5-Fifth cut the contact paper cork board to the size of the frame backing.

-6-Sixth once the frame is dry place the cork board in side. Then take small nails & place them in desired location & hang your necklaces from them & hang on the wall.
